In these conversations, I talk to members of the chronic pain / TMS community, to discover what worked for them in their stress illness recovery. Watch the video above or click through to YouTube using the button below the video, to watch there if you prefer.
This week I interviewed the lovely and courageous Stacey Dicks who joined me from Austin, Texas. Stacey shares her story of 17 years worth of TMS symptoms, starting with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, both causing intense fear and worry. Stacey went on to experience numerous additional symptoms, including IBS, GI issues, frequent urination, neck, back, shoulder and tailbone pain after an injury.
As is so common with TMS sufferers, Stacey saw numerous physicians and spent thousands of dollars trying different treatments to heal, none of which worked.
Stacey shares how finding out about TMS and the likes of Curable, Nicole Sachs, Dan Buglio and Dr Stracks has significantly changed her life! Stacey has shown such bravery and resilience, and I loved hearing how much better she feels compared to even a year ago. Her focus on physical activity and slowly exposing herself to more movement and exercise has really helped her healing.
