If you've followed me for a while or have been part of this healing space for some time, you may recall the release of the Boulder Back Pain study, led by Alan Gordon LCSW that was released in 2021 and was featured in the JAMA Psychiatry medical journal, providing undisputable proof that a psychological approach can cure chronic pain.
Pain Brain follows the story of Alan Gordon and his pain patients, as he works on this fascinating research project and delivers some of the strongest evidence yet that a psychological approach can provide a cure for chronic pain patients by harnessing the power of neuroplasticity, compassionate self-inquiry and literally retraining the brain out of pain patterns. The film also features mind-body expert practitioners Howard Schubiner MD and is also produced by David Clarke MD.

This is such an inspiring documentary, with many personal patient testimonies, I think you're going to love it! It's only an hour long, so super easy to watch, and delivered in an easy-to-understand format that given the subject matter, is really appreciated.
