The mindset of indifference matters so much in convincing the brain that you are safe and well. This is the missing link that many are striving for, and a stage that many people get stuck in before they can completely 'get it' and heal from TMS.
If you're constantly thinking about your symptoms, talking about your pain, measuring, fixing, fearful of symptoms or setbacks, desperate to resolve things, obsessing over recovery...it will continue to fire. Focus on your life, your dreams, your daily whatevers...and eventually, your mind will let go.
