This is a perfect introduction to JournalSpeak. Curable's episode on their Podcast "Like Mind, Like Body". An interview with Nicole Sachs LCSW entitled "Can Journaling Help to Release Physical Pain?". Nicole Sachs is a psychotherapist creator of the expressive writing programme JournalSpeak, that helped me overcome my TMS symptoms.
It gives a great overview of how to start journaling, how JournalSpeak was born and why it works so well. Nicole outlines what steps to follow and ideas on what sort of tone of voice to use when journaling to get the most out of the practice.
Nicole shares her own personal story and journey with TMS and how she overcame her frightening diagnosis and prognosis. Through working with Dr John Sarno firstly as his patient, then as his colleague, she continues his legacy and eventually founded this life-changing work and brought it to the masses.
