In these conversations, I talk to members of the chronic pain / TMS community, to discover what worked for them in their stress illness recovery and where they are today because of it. Watch the video above or click through to YouTube using the button below the video, to watch there if you prefer.
In this episode of Your Stories, I had the pleasure of talking to the lovely Kounthea Richards, who tragically suffered years of the many debilitating symptoms of Lupus. Kounthea had to give up her job, her life and at her rock bottom had even felt like ending her life entirely.
Her message is one of amazing triumph, over chronic fatigue, all over body pain, hair loss and a myriad of other distressing symptoms that lead her to a life completely committed to her health and well-being.
I absolutely loved this conversation, it's just beyond inspiring. She now shares her story with others to help them, focusing on an approach mixed with great nutrition, exercise, meditation, journaling, optimism and focusing on the power of everyday healing choices, knowing now that even an autoimmune diagnosis like Lupus does NOT need to mean a life sentence.
This conversation was fun, tragic in parts too, really heartfelt and hopefully massively inspiring for others to hear. There is hope, there is healing, and we are the proof!
