In these casual interviews and conversations, I talk to members of the chronic pain / TMS community, to discover what worked for them in their stress illness recovery. Watch the video above or click through to YouTube using the button below the video, to watch there if you prefer.
In this episode (grab some snacks, it's a long one! But a FAB one!) I talk to TMS 'celebrity' Dan Buglio! Dan helped me enormously in my TMS recovery and he continues to help thousands of people become pain and symptom-free through his online YouTube and Facebook communities called Pain Free You.
Dan has a long recovery story - he experienced 13 years of chronic back pain before he finally cracked the code and became completely pain-free. When Dan’s pain started, there were few TMS resources available but it was reading Dr John Sarno’s book ‘Healing Back Pain’ that started Dan’s journey to recovery.
Despite reading the book and believing he had TMS, Dan continued to have pain on and off for years. He was eventually able to make an amazing recovery and fully heal himself through putting an end to physical therapy and instead focusing on changing his mindset, feeling indifferent to the pain and no longer fearing it.
Dan’s journey taught him invaluable insights into healing, particularly around the all-important mindset and he now dedicates much of his time imparting this wisdom onto others through his daily videos and 1-2-1 coaching. He also offers a helpful Pain Test, designed to help you determine if your pain and symptoms are indeed TMS.
Thank you, Dan, for helping both myself and others live a pain-free life.
I really hope you enjoy this testimony! If you'd like to submit your story for this series, please click here, whether you're comfortable on camera or not, I would love to hear from you.
