That's the title of the latest episode of The Cure for Chronic Pain podcast hosted by my mind-body mentor, psychotherapist, author, Dr Sarno successor and all-round badass human Nicole Sachs LCSW. I'm so excited she invited me back on to share the updates on my story and the path I've fallen into because of my healing journey.
I'm delighted to share this latest conversation with you guys, her approach to mind-body work and approach to life, in general, is so in line with my own that I just LOVE talking to her and catching up on what's been going on in these few months since our last podcast together back in January 2020.
We catch up on everything I've been up to since healing completely from chronic back pain and finally realising my lifelong dream of training to become a yoga teacher, building this website and turning my life around from debilitating pain and struggling, to thriving and turning this work into my life purpose - teaching people just like you to recover as I did with the help of yoga, meditation and breathwork.
I found my calling through this work, I am grateful to my pain as it showed me who I really am and actually lead me to this new life of serving YOU and others just like you to heal in the way that I did.
For those of you new to this work, The Cure for Chronic Pain is a weekly Podcast available on all the usual Podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Audioboom etc), you can find more about Nicole's JournalSpeak practice here - a therapeutic writing exercise aimed at releasing suppressed emotions and settling the nervous system, among many other things! Thank you Nicole for creating such a fabulous platform for these healing conversations, I will be forever grateful to you and your community.
